Jenny Sauer-Klein
A lifelong lover of movement, expression and connection, I spent my childhood and early adulthood dancing, singing and acting. Discovering yoga while I was in university was the answers to prayers I didn't even know I had. I began teaching yoga in New York City a few years later, where I also began teaching circus arts to children in afterschool programs. Little did I know where it was all leading to. From my very first experience of flying, I was hooked. Like many worthwhile things in life, it didn't come easily, but my deep love of the practice kept me coming back for more. I was entranced by the limitless potential of two or more beings coming together in a devotional, playful and mutually supportive practice. Ultimately, it is about being present with myself and my partner, and regardless of whether or not I even know this person's name, relating to this being as a reflection of divine essence. Major influential teachers in my life have been Kevin & Erin O'Keefe who were my first flying teachers and got me working with children and teaching acrobatics, Nateshvar Ken Scott who certified me to teach Contact Yoga, Sofia Diaz who inspires me to live my truth as love light bliss, and Sianna Sherman who is a deep well of the embodied poetic wisdom of yoga. I have studied acrobatics with Cirque du Soleil artists Elsie and Serenity Smith, and at the Circus Center in San Francisco. Jason Nemer has also been a huge support and amazing guide on my acrobatic journey, for which I am eternally grateful. I also enjoy playing on a flying trapeze whenever I get the chance. I feel so blessed to be sharing this practice and bringing more connection and unity into the world. Namaste.Photos
