Yuki Tsuji-HoeningBeing playful and having FUN has always been the easiest thing for me to do. My yoga practice started in 1999 while I was in college in Boston. Since then, yoga is part of my life. I did a Yoga Alliance 200hr teacher training with a senior Iyengar teacher, Nancy Stechert in Hotchkiss CO. I have studied with senior Iyengar teachers such as Patricia Walden and Manouso Manos. I shine in expressing my freedom and joy in my physical body and movements in many different disciplines such as rock and ice climbing, skiing, acrobatics, dancing, and many outdoor activities. When AcroYoga came to my life, it was a perfect combination of self-expression, creativity, challenge, playfulness and community building. With the previous teaching experience in skydiving, I am great at motivating people and supporting them mentally, emotionally and physically. I want my students to shine from within, exploring their playfulness, courageousness and tenderness. Using the other yoga styles' experience and knowledge, teaching alignment in accuracy and good sequencing is my strength. I also share my passion in Thai massage as a licensed massage therapist and registered Thai massage therapist with THAI. I believe that the love of touch in AcroYoga helps people to open up rather quickly but in depth. I am convinced that we are all craving for unconditional love and the sense of community through compassionate touch. I am a founder and director of Karuna Health that provides yoga and massage services. She performs AcroYoga with her acro partner, Paul Robinson, at numerous events and shows.
I am excited to be part of the community with you and am committed to teaching the best way I can. I am also committed to continue the study of this beautiful practice with Jenny and Jason and so many wonderful teachers from all over the world. Looking forward to meeting you all shining souls!
