Never doubt that our path unfolds before us in complete perfection...

AcroYoga had a birthday recently: lucky number 13! In those early days, we knew we were onto something...but we had no idea how far this practice would go or how many lives would be transformed. We found the value of play as a tangible tool for empowerment, human connection, self-inquiry, improved communication, and overall freedom in body and mind.

I was in the right time at the right place in SF, when I met Jenny and Jason and said 'YES'. . . yes to being a student of acrobatics, yes to sharing my love of Thai Massage, yes to collaboration, compromise, visioning, and YES to expanding boundaries. Sometimes we struggled - our passions enflamed - and met our differing opinions with compassion and respect, even if we agreed to disagree.
But the YES never wavered.
Over a decade later, I'm incredibly blessed for the connections I've nurtured with wonderful humans across the globe, for the physical prowess and agility I enjoy in my 40's, for distilling my confidence as a teacher, and for the profound opportunities to benefit others with a single touch/flight. It's been an honor to touch so many lives.

In AcroYoga we create a sacred space for connection and play as well as a channel for healing touch, safe intimacy and community. The greatest reward is collaborating with fellow playmates and sharing our joy!

In addition to co-developing AcroYoga.org and contributing the bulk of the Thai Massage sequences, I co-facilitated the first 5 AcroYoga Teacher Trainings, starting in 2006 and again in 2014 - present, started the Friday night AcroYoga class in SF, 2004 - 2007, now ongoing with other AYI teachers; and am Level 2 Certified as Immersion Teacher, 2014.

Healing Arts credentials and experience:
Professionally certified in massage therapy since 2000 from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, San Francisco.
Master of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, San Francisco, CA, 2002.
Month-long Thai Massage training, ITM, Chiang Mai, Thailand, 2002.
My bodywork is a blend of Deep Swedish, Thai Massage, Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage), Myofascial Release, Chi Nei Tsang, Tiger Moxa Scar Tissue Treatment. In private practice, I facilitate healthy, joyful living through the integration of Bodywork, Acupuncture, Yoga and mindfulness.

Yoga is an boundless love affair which blossomed for me in 1993 with initial study of Kundalini Yoga; along the way I have embraced Ashtanga, Bikram, Vinyasa, Siddha, Yin, and Kriya Yoga practices.
After practicing for 13 years, I attended a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training with Shiva Rea, Los Angeles, CA, 2006. In 2008, I studied Siddha Yoga in Maharashtra, India. In 2015, I completed Yin Yoga TT with Sally Miller.

Deep gratitude to so many teachers! Some of whom I can name: Nateshvar Ken Scott (creator of Contact Yoga and Yogassage), Jenny & Jason!, Rusty Wells (Bhakti Flow Yoga), Shiva Rea (Prana Flow Yoga), Chongkol Setthakorn (ITM, Thai Massage School), Ohm Rinraya (Chi Nei Tsang, Chiang Mai), and all the students I've ever taught!
